Built in 1964, the Cloud of Dusk is located in the Mountaintop Park. It is made up of Sightseeing Platform and Wanwang Pavilion. It is well-known place to watch sunset and nightscapes. As early as Yuan Dynasty, it had been put on the listing of “Eight Famous Scenic Attractions of Guangzhou”. It has a place in both the former “Eight Famous Scenic Attractions of Guangzhou” in Song, Ming and Qing dynasties and new “Eight Famous Scenic Attractions of Guangzhou” in 1980s. At dusk, visitors can watch sunset and colorful sunset glows at Wanwang Pavilion. The Cloud of Dusk and Mountaintop Park have become the most popular place for visitors to appreciate sceneries and have fun.
