Sea of Sculptures

Located in the west of Flying Goose Ridge in Baiyun Mountain, the Sculpture Park covers a land area of 460,000m2. It is the largest sculpture-themed park in China, which was built by Guangzhou Municipal Government in 1996 on the principle of combining sculpture with landscaping, appreciation with education, arts with history to celebrate 2210th anniversary of the founding of Guangzhou. The park boasts a lot of sculptures, which fully reflect Guangzhou’s history and Lingnan cultural characteristics. It is a good place to taste modern arts and learn about Lingnan culture.
